This game simulates the battle of Tannenberg/Grunwald/Zalgiris, between the Teutonic Order under Hochmeister Ulrich von Jungingen, and their Western European Crusader allies, and the Poles under King Wladislaw II Jagiello, and his Bohemian/Moravian/Silesian allies, and the Lithuanians under Grand Duke Vytautas “the Great”, and his Russian and Tatar allies, between the Prussian villages of Tannenberg and Ludwigsdorf, on 15 July 1410.  As well as enabling the battle to be replayed as it happened, the game is designed to explore alternative scenarios, such as:

The game focuses especially on the different capabilities of the mix of troops that made up the Polish-Lithuanian army - heavy cavalry, light cavalry modelled on the Mongol cavalry, and hordes of infantry very vulnerable to heavy cavalry attack but potentially devastating to cavalry pinned in a melee.

The game is designed for 2 players.
